Join us at the Library during the Olympics to watch the coverage on the big screen! CBC has given the public libraries across Canada the opportunity to host watch parties for the #MilanoCortina2026 Olympics.
We are breaking out the projector...so we should have the biggest screen in town. Come and bring your friends - bring your snacks or even your lunch. (If we can find some partners we hope to have the coffee on and available...)
As we will be streaming we have lots of options as to what is available to show. But just to give you an idea: the Womens Hockey Can vs USA is on Feb 10th starting at 3:10 and the Men's Hockey on Feb 12th at 9:40 is Canada vs Czechia.
The streaming will be begin Friday Feb 6 at 1pm with the Opening Ceremony

The ArtsWest Traveling Gallery has arrived and will be on display for most of January. Included in the gallery is a piece by local resident Faith Kroeker. Thanks to @b.m.arts.council for arranging transportation and @lisa.joelle for helping arrange the pieces.
